From the bumper 2013 vintage this is a Shiraz which shows what South
Australia wines are famous for. Destined for the export market, this
wine was bottled and ready for labelling when the deal fell through.
A ripe and full flavoured wine, it is deep red in colour with purple hues and shows ripe raspberries and plum aromas dominate with a hint of anise and white pepper on the nose. The palate has rich plum and juicy ripe red berry flavours with a balanced yet firm tannins with cinnamon and beautifully integrated oak. It finishes long and soft.
You would expect to pay around $12-15 for this wine, but its only $79 a dozen until Christmas!
