15ct Antique Sapphire & Diamond Gypsy Ring, Size L, 3.16 GramsThis beautiful antique gypsy ring in 15ct yellow gold has a lovely alternating etched pattern with three (3) old mine cut mid blue sapphires, off round, 3.2mm, 2.7mm and 2.6mm each with two (2) old mine cut diamonds measuring about 2mm each.
All stones are set into pretty etched star shapes in bead settings alternating between the sapphires and diamonds.
This ring measures 6.8mm wide at the centre of the band at the top of the finger with a tapering flat curve profile band that is 1.6mm wide at the base.
This ring is in very good condition, beside the band being a little out of shape due to wear on the lower half and there are no visible hallmarks, this ring has been acid tested to 14ct and 18ct and it is assumed that this piece is 15ct as most of the Edwardian and Victorian sapphire and diamond gypsy rings were at that time.
